Pallet Builder
Job Summary:
Associated Hardwoods, Inc. is looking for a Pallet Builder to join our team. In this role, you will build pallets by cutting, assembling, and securing wooden parts. If you don’t have experience, we will train you. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the production industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build pallets by assembling wood parts using tools like hammers, nails, and saws.
- Cut wood to the correct size and shape for pallets.
- Make sure pallets are built correctly and safely.
- Inspect the pallets for quality and make adjustments if needed.
- Keep track of materials and supplies.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Follow safety rules at all times.
- Work with the team to meet production goals.
- Help out with other tasks in the production area as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required; we will train you.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Good attention to detail to make sure pallets are made correctly.
- Able to work well with others and communicate clearly.
- Good physical condition for lifting and moving materials.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a noisy and dusty environment with wood and equipment.
- Wear safety gear like gloves, goggles, and steel-toe boots.
- Work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; sometimes heavier items with help.
- Stand, walk, and bend for long periods during the shift.
- Use hand and power tools for repetitive tasks.
- Push and pull materials and pallets.
- Good vision to inspect work and hearing to monitor equipment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary is commensurate with experience within industry average

Schedule:
- First Shift
