Job Title: General Laborer

Position Summary
Associated Hardwoods, Inc. is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support daily operations across various departments in our lumber facility. This role involves physical labor, assisting with machinery, and ensuring a clean, safe, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-focused, and able to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Stack and organize lumber based on size and grade specifications.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Comply with all safety policies, including use of required PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or lumber industry is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
Working Conditions
- Indoor/outdoor facility with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

Typical Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Schedule may vary based on business needs.
